Project: Security - Ring Home Alarm - Upcoming
Hello All,
First, thank you for supporting me and following my blog where I support DIY. There are so many things out there that we can do it our self rather than hiring a contractor.
Being said that, upcoming project is on enhancing the security of my house. I currently have Salomin’s Home Alarm System (NAPCO) Brand. So I decided to gut that out and install ring home alarm.
The Ring system will effortlessly integrate with my Ring Doorbell and will give me the power to monitor my house and arm/disarm remotely via Phone App.
Lastly, budget wise it is also a wise decision, whereby Legacy system with the third party requires a phone line and as well active subscription which yields approx. $220 per annum.
Ring comes out to $100/year if you first time user and sole security owner. Since I am existing Ring user for Doorbell and pay $30/year, it will cost me an additional $70/year totaling $100. This is still relatively cheap compared to other services.
So, I will be doing this enhancement on the weekend after Thanksgiving. Of course, I want to enjoy my turkey.
So Stay tune everyone.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Jimmy
